Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is an British artist and composer. Harry Styles was one among the founders of One Direction. Born at Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England, on 1 February 1994, he's the son Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School. There, he and three schoolmates were part of a group called White Eskimo. They took home the Battle of Bands in 2009 with their amazing shows. There was always an interest for music. He was aspiring to be the next lawyer or physical therapist. He worked at a local bakery on a part-time basis to assist their family in financial matters. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition when he performed Stevie Wonder's hit song Is not She Lovely. This is why his group were forced to split. After the audition in The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles could be part of a future band that would be called One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. The creation of the group became a reality in the year 2010 and the five members were sponsored by Simon Cowell. The band performed songs like My Life Would Suffer Without You which was written by Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the contest. This made the group one of the possible winners for the prize. They were in third place behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle and won. Harry Styles' group didn't take home the prize, however Cowell did pay 2 million pounds One Direction for them to sign a deal with Syco.
