Meagan Good (born 8 August 1981) was born to Tyra, her mother and Leondis Leon Good her father in Panorama City of Los Angeles. Tyra is a former manager, who supervised Meagan as she was in her teens. Her career in acting began at age four. She was raised in Canyon Country, California with three of her siblings. At the beginning of her career she worked as an actor on TV shows like Doogie Howser Amen and M.D. When she was thirteen, she was cast as Friday in 1995. Her first recognition came from her role as the struggling teenager Cisely Batiste in the movie Eve's Bayou in 1997 for which she received two award nominations, including her first N.A.A.C.P.
