Andrea Elson
Andrea Hope Elson was an American actress. Elson's career began as a young actor and model. She is most well-known for playing Alice Tyler in CBS science fiction. Andrea tried out for the lead role in ALF, the 1986 hit show. She was a finalist. Andrea continued working for many years on various hit TV shows and Movies of the Week before going into the entertainment field to concentrate on her children. Andrea Elson played Lynn Tanner in ALF as the teen daughter from Kate the actress and Willie. People magazine released a retrospective of Elson's career in 2000. Elson commented that growing up in the spotlight was not an easy task. Born on the 6th of March 1969, in New York City, this green-eyed actor grew up travelling because of her father's job as an advertising executive. Before turning 10, she'd lived in New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. Andrea was able to win her first audition San Diego after she got an agent. Fusco was in favor of the idea, by saying "ALF is 285 years old, he is able to drink beer because he's old enough. The popularity of ALF grew among children, NBC informed Fusco that it was not allowed to drink alcohol because the children were watching. It was a bad illustration. Fusco maintained that he believed ALF was an adult and was able to handle alcohol. In 1995, Fusco was diagnosed with lymphoma. The treatment was successful and the disease remained in remission through the year 2019. In June of 2019, at the age of 75, he passed away from cancer at the Lillian Booth Actors Home located in Englewood in New Jersey.
