Kari Samantha (born on April 28, 1967) Wuhrer is a famous American actress and performer. Wuhrer began her career as a teenager. She is known for her roles as Maggie Beckett in the television series Sliders and also as the Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), who is a payroll manager, and German American Andrew Wuhrer, a police officer and automobile salesman. There are three siblings. The singer began performing in nightclubs as a teenager and would sneak out of her home to perform. Kari began acting when she was still in the teen years. She had her first major appearance on MTV Remote Control in 1987.
